Super Sentai Saikyou Battle Confirmed Returnees So Far

For 4 Sundays (February 17 & 21, March 3 & 10), a 4-part Mini Series will be aired, which is the Super Sentai Saikyou (Greatest) Battle where 5 Sentai heroes will be put to the test against other Sentai heroes which it could be a part of their training to face unexpected enemies plus witnessing the arrival of new Sentai heroes, which it turned out to be the Ryusoulgers (the official cast of Ryusoulger will be revealed next month).

The confirmed returnees so far were Ai Moritaka (Kagura/Tokkyu-5Gou), Yosuke Kishi (Stinger/Sasori Orange), Shunsuke Nishikawa (Takaharu/Akaninger), Ryota Ozawa (Marvelous/Gokai Red & Masaki Nakao (Yamato/Zyuoh Eagle) with Toku newcomer Nana Asakawa playing Rita, a mysterious witch appears from a different dimensional world.

The Toei official website announced just today 5 more Sentai returnees. Here's the returnees confirmed for the Saikyou series:

Fresh off the success of Lupinranger vs. Patranger, former Haisute actor turned Toku rookie actor Kousei Yuki returns as Keiichirou Asaka/Patren-1gou. During his LuPato stint whose final episode will be aired on February 10, he released his 1st PB & 1st calendar. Last month, he held a successful birthday event & he appeared in the TV Dan Mook for 3 times along with his fellow LuPato actor, Asahi Ito who plays Kairi Yano/Lupin Red.

Her appearance in the Kyuranger vs. Space Squad V-Cinema was no fluke, Mao Ichimichi aka M.A.O returned on the role that made her career, she returns as Luka Milfy/Gokai Yellow, the role that made a mark in her acting & VA career. Her Toku VA debut was playing the role of Raptor 283/Washi Pink in Kyuranger back in 2017.

The leader of the 1st Anniversary Sentai Team for the 21st Century is back after 8 years. Noboru Kaneko 1st reprised the role of Kakeru Shishi/Gao Red in Gokaiger during the Gaoranger Tribute Episode. He was featured in the Special Interview article for the 1st volume of the Super Sentai 21st Century Official Mook which was released in March 2017.

It's been a while since Boukenger was represented in other Sentai series like how Mitsuomi Takahashi brought back Satoru Akashi after half a decade in the Boukenger Tribute for Gokaiger (which is actually my favorite episode). While i'm hoping for a Boukenger 15th Year Anniversary Project in the year 2021 (Hello, Toei!), the role that Masayuki Deai played 1st in any Toei Toku series is back after 11 years. (The last time he played Eiji Takaoka/Bouken Silver was in the Gekiranger vs. Boukenger movie in 2008)

If the Go-Onger 10 Years Grandprix wasn't enough, Yasuhisa Furuhara returns as Sosuke Esumi/Go-On Red for this SS special series. He also appeared in the Special Interview article for the 8th Volume for the SS 21st Century Mook which was released around April/May 2017.

The Super Sentai Saikyou Battle will start on February 17 at 9:30 AM JST.

7 Ikemen Of Ultraman Appreciation Post: Takuya Negishi

Born on March 12, 1996, he entered the J-Entertainment scene in 2009 as a member of Watanabe Entertainment's all-male multi-talented group, D2, considered the little brother group of the D-Boys. He played the lead role of Hikaru Raidou in the 1st Ultraman series under the Shin Ultraman Retsuden era, Ultraman Ginga in 2013. Then, he returned in 2014 for Ultraman Ginga S & appeared in 2 episodes of Ultraman X in 2015.

After his Ultraman stint, he appeared for 2 episodes of KR Ex-Aid in October-November 2016 & March 2017. For a teaser of the Ultraman Expo for 2018, he & 3 other Ultraman acts from the Shin Ultraman Retsuden Era (Uji Kiyotaka, Kensuke Takahashi & Hideo Ishiguro) returned & did VA roles of the Ultraman alter-egos for the mentioned event. For 2019, he'll be on the upcoming movie, Lapse.

Today's episode for Ultraman New Generation Chronicle focused on 1 of the Kaijus based on an episode from Ultraman Ginga S where an office worker ended up becoming a Kaiju, befriended a little boy & almost put Hikaru & Shou in trouble.

7 Ikemen Of Ultra Appreciation Post: Kensuke Takahashi

This series of posts will be done after i watched an ep of Ultraman New Generation Chronicle which features the 1st battle of the 7 Ultraman featured in the mentioned series.

Since today's episode was focused on Ultraman X, time to do an appreciation post for Daichi Ozora's actor, Kensuke Takahashi!

Born on Christmas Eve/December 24 of 1994, he began his acting career in the Touken Ranbu Stage Play. The year 2015 was a breakthrough for him that he bagged the role of Daichi Ozora in Ultraman X, just a year before the golden year of the Ultraman franchise that happened in 2016, the year after Ultraman X. Thus, he returned as Daichi for the Ultraman X & Orb Movies in 2016 & 2017.

After his stint in Ultraman X, he also landed roles in other Anime-based stage plays such as for High School Star Musical, Gantz & Dive! Thus, he still continues to do the Touken Ranbu Stage Play.

Just last year, he & Takuya Negishi (Hikaru Raidou from Ultraman Ginga & Ginga S) surprised the fans at a Tamashi Nations event last year to launch the newest line up of Ultraman SHFiguarts including an Ultraman X SHF equipped with the Cyber Gomora Armor.

A Fan-Girl's Review To Ultraman New Generation Chronicle After Watching The Pilot Episode

1st episode in the history books, this is like a flash-back series abut the 7 Ultraman series that boosted the careers of Takuya Negishi, Uji Kiyotaka, Kensuke Takahashi, Hideo Ishiguro, Tatsuomi Hamada, Yuya Hirata & Ryosuke Koike. While there's no updates yet about the new Ultraman series that will be out for this year after R/B that ended just before Christmas last month, Ultraman fans can watch the moments that happened from Ginga to R/B as the setting will be in a theater & cute Kaijus will take the fans to a trip back memory lane on how the lives of 7 men changed for the better when they accept the responsibility of being an Ultraman.

Episode 1 had Riku & Pega on the theater, thought they'll watch a movie about their favorite Superhero, but only to end up watching clips of how Riku & 6 other men decided to accept the responsibility as an Ultraman. Riku was on 1st, then Hikaru, Shou, Daichi, Gai & the Minato Brothers, Katsumi & Isami. 2 members of 2 different defense groups, a prince from an underground world, a wandering young man, a simple young man with dreams of meeting his favorite hero & 2 brothers whose balancing their lives between academics & running the family business. But when evil Kaijus attack, they pick up their Ultra arsenals in order for them to transform into their assigned Ultraman forms, use power-up items & fight for the protection of the world.

Lupinranger vs. Patranger Boys Post To Kick Off This Blog!

First of all, Belated Happy New Year! I started the FB Fan-Page, Toku Hasubando posting while the New Year celebrations were on, to show the love for Toku boys despite the influx of Toku fan-pages which are dedicated to Toku girls. It's about time for Toku fan-girls to show their love for Toku boys.

Now, to kick off everything for this blog, here's some from the boys of Lupinranger vs. Patranger:

Asahi Ito (Kairi/Lupin Red) & Kousei Yuki (Keiichirou/Patren-1Gou) is like the hottest BL pair that Super Sentai produced in it's 40+ year run.

Ryo Yokoyama (Sakuya/Patren-2Gou) looked rugged with facial hair. But i guess he donned that look now LuPato just wrapped up filming.
He's hanging out with Shogo Hama (Touma/Lupin Blue) lately, they also do had conversations on Twitter about some interesting topics.
Seiya Motoki (Noel/Lupin-X or Patren-X) never fails to impress us with his good looks & amazing parkour skills.

Well then, there will be more posts to come, more Toku boys & more fun.
